PROVERBS 28 - Be Righteous, Be Bold

God makes the weak strong; God heals the sick; God forgives the sinner. God simply asks that we have faith. God has no limitations. He created the universe with order. He created man to praise Him and to honor His name. Yet we do not. We are afraid to be bold in our Christian walk. We are afraid to share the Gospel, the gift of salvation, the fact that Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again." (John 3:3)

Many Christians today hide in fear of society, afraid that they may offend someone. So they say nothing or worse they water down the Gospel as simply being a "good person". But "being a good person" is a death sentence; an eternity in hell. Jesus said, "You must be born again" (John 3:7) and "the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life." (John 3:14). To believe is to make a commitment; to enlist in God's Army; it is not for the weak. Jesus said, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20).

To the righteous, to the bold men of God, God makes many promises:

14 "Blessed is the man who always fears the Lord".
